“Is the spring coming?" he said. "What is it like?"...
"It is the sun shining on the rain and the rain falling on the sunshine...”
― Frances Hodgson Burnett, The Secret Garden

We are jumping right into this weekend. No looking back... With hopes for sleeping in and a little spring cleaning.
I did get a head start on organizing my studio, and have added lots of discounted prints to the outlet

Have a great weekend friends!

Sometimes you have to make your own sunshine... and this week was certainly a time for that (as it has been raining for the last 5 days with no end in sight.)
Making me happy today are:
 * This movie preview.
 * This bike.
 * Our newly rearranged living room.
 * Our version of this recipe (with shredded cabbage and leftover pork tenderloin added.)
 * This sweet smelling lotion that I have been using my whole life.
 * These new spring prints in my shop.
Have a lovely weekend friends!

Tote Bags

If you take a peek into any one of my closets, it will become obvious that I love a good tote bag. And, as it turns out, I also love making them for my Society6 shop. (Which has free worldwide shipping through Sunday if you click here.)
P.S. I am adding new images as fast as I can... let me know if you'd like to request your favorite.

There was a lot of talk about a grand road trip to much warmer harbors, but in the end we found ourselves heading back to the beach town where I was born, which seems like the most appropriate place of all to spend a birthday. (Plus, it was warm enough to dip our toes into Lake Michigan for a whole 10 minutes before we froze.) Happy weekend to you all!
