When I was a teenager, we moved here, to the middle of these woods. The last few times I have been back it has been snowy. But, spring is my much preferred time to visit. The air is scented with wild leeks (which I am kicking myself for not bringing some back to cook with.) And, the Trilliums are blooming. We spent the day Saturday eating and playing with friends and family. Enough time away to cure my wanderlust for the week.
