Welcome to the first Wednesday in the garden for 2011! My little companion and I assessed the garden this morning, and found it to be a complete mess, but one with a lot of potential. Sweet raindrops are resting on our newly sprouted Columbine, which is one of my favorite springtime flowers because of their pretty scalloped leaves.
What about you? What's growing in your garden today?

What's growing in my garden today... too many weeds for my taste. But I've conquered quite a bit of the mess left from winter that I found when I did my own assessment last month (our climate is a month ahead of yours).

Yes...our yard is a mess too, and the weather here in Chicago is not exactly Spring-y yet, but I wanted to say I love this post. Great stuff! Cute boots, too. :)
Well those cute red boots would make any garden cheery! Love. :) And your companion has such a sweet face. Tomatoes are about ready to pop here, and we've got baby grapes.
Would love to have a garden, but for now I only have my balcony :) However, I was planting some begonia seeds the other day and bought new lavender and a couple of different herbs (including morrocan mint for tea).
Looking forward to see your garden bloom and grow!
Have a lovely Easter weekend!
And the garden is so green and luscious!!! SO JEALOUS! :))
i love the water drops on those green/purple leaves - wonderful texture! and i love your red boots :)
What i love in our garden are magnolia and pansy. But my neighbour has bigger one and full blossom. And i love your red gummy:)
