Game on...
Today we are celebrating the little things. Here is what is filling my heart this week.
*Finally bike riding for groceries. (aka: all the snow has melted).
*A very overdue lunch date.
*A sweet bracelet for Japan.
*A spring break project.
*1/2 off postcards!
*This, (it needs a good home) And, (this one too)
* People who feel as strongly as me about this.
*Guessing how many days until the tennis nets go back up (what do you think?)
* All of the wonderful support for my "For Japan" photographs. Thank you all so much!

Alicia - I'm just curious to get the perspective of a photographer. On the topic of crediting photos....I will admit to using your photos on my blog in the past, with a proper credit and link back to this site or your shop. I have a personal blog that is only followed by a small number of people. Are you okay with this? If not, I will definitely not do it again. I think we're all trying to figure out the rules, particularly those of us who keep personal blogs and are not making money off of them. I'd love to hear your thoughts.

It sounds like what you are doing is fine, especially with me, giving credit and a link. It lets the photographers know you appreciate their work and lets others know where to find more.
I am thinking about writing a little post of my own devoted to this subject.... though it may take me awhile to organize all of my thoughts. I have a lot on this subject. Best wishes- A.

The pictures on this blog are my photographs. I am a professional photographer, so the issue of crediting work, especially on blogs and websites like Pinterest, is one I am very sensitive about. I can think of a few times over the last 5 years when I have highlighted the work of other photographers and I have always given credit, and a link to their site. I see my work on sites daily with no credit. It really hurts when I have worked so hard to create those images, but it is also a legal issue that more people need to be aware of.
