Tis The Season

The last of the last minute orders are almost ready to ship.
The kids are on vacation, playing board games and making forts in the living room.
I am looking forward to New Year's Eve.
It always feels good to get to this point in the season.

First Snow

Overnight it turned into winter. And before breakfast, or even coffee, we were outside. There were snow angels made and shoveling done. Mostly, a lot of just walking around the yard talking about how magical it all looked.

The rain is just about to change to snow... reworking some of my favorite beach photographs is my way of ignoring it. I've also decided to continue to continue the buy one, get one sale in my Etsy shop for another week. (Good for all 8" photographs, and calendars.)  I know there were some of you who missed out yesterday.
Enjoy - A.

Out of the Woods

Good Morning ! It has been awhile since I have been here. I've missed it. So, I am going to work on posting here more often. There is a lot to catch up on.

First things first, like every other online business, I am having a big sale today. This time it's in my Etsy shop... which you can read about in my newsletter here. (Prints and calendars are buy one, get one free!)

What's new with all of you? xoxo - A.

Today's inspiration comes from amazing patterns and dappled light.

You know what this week needs? A great give away, that's what...
One of you will receive a $100 gift certificate to spend on my website. All you need to do is "like" my business page on facebook, and leave a comment there letting me know how you'd spend the gift certificate (under the gift certificate photograph). I'll announce the winner there Monday morning. Feel free to spread the word to your friends and family.

It is always a good day when new postcards arrive! I have been using them all the time for quick notes, teacher gifts and housewarming presents. You can find them on my site or in my shop.

A little green goes a long way for me this time of year. Ferns continue hold their place as my favorite greenery. I can imagine these printed large in a clean,  modern house.... over a white fireplace would be lovely. The entire collection can be found here.

You know what Annie says, "the sun'll come out tomorrow.."
Here's hoping anyway. xoxo -A.

One of the most frequently asked questions in my Etsy shop is if I offer discounts for multiple prints. So, for all of you who have asked, I've created 3 different discounted sets (8"x8", 5"x5" and 12"x12" ) which can be found here in gray. And, one for calendars too!
Happy shopping. xoxo- A.

These are my gifts. The antlers came from my husbands' family, and the crystals were from mine. My parents went crystal mining a couple years back in Arkansas. (Doesn't that sound like fun!) They have been here in my office for a long, long time. Apparently, just waiting for the day they would come together...
The series can be found here... xoxooxo - A.

Ahhh Friday. Aren't you all looking forward to the weekend. I'm planning a quiet one, with a visit to the market and a few movies.
But, first a little business...
As you can see above the 2012 desk calendars have arrived and are now available on my website  or in my etsy shop. I have changed paper types this year to a high quality Pearl cardstock (similar to my postcards). I think you will love the way they shimmer in the light.
