Until this point I've been worrying about bears... it has never occurred to me that I should also start worrying about cougars. I seriously considering going back to the hotel, back to bed. But, the place I have wanted to see for years is just through those woods...

I have seen them around my parent's home...And my dad has seen them a few times hunting around these parts. They will eat little people like yourself ;-O
Yikes! Most certainly not the thing you want to find out first thing in the morning when your out in the wilderness.
seriously daunting! be careful and venture on!
the "pick up small children immediately" gets me every time.
can't wait to see where the cougar-infused walk led.
