Last Night

We finished cooking at 10:00. The birthday girl (still celebrating a week later) wanted to eat outside. It was very dark. Christmas lights, candles, and a flashlight were found. Fireflies danced. Hollyhocks glowed. A party was born. The wind whispered, this is summer, this is summer.

It's the birthday girl's prerogative! And good for her for learning early that week-long birthday extravaganzas are a great way to celebrate life!
