Well my friends, the party is officially over...
On the morning I was leaving Paris, I packed, and my very sweet mom, searched the streets of Montmarte for an open boulangerie so I could have a couple fresh baguettes to tuck into my suitcase. I planned to save them, and hid them in the freezer as soon as I got home. But, I couldn't stop thinking about them. And, when J.K. and I were in the mood for a quick bite we knew nothing else would do. So happy we were eating the last one, the very last one, with a little chevre on the side. If there was ever a better snack, I'd love to know.
Hope your weekend is filled with sweet treats! -A.

I've loved seeing your Paris shots, Alicia.
I hope there are still more to come!
It's such a dream of mine to visit Montmartre so it's great to live it through your photographs.

your Paris trip was so inspirational and beautiful. I may never be able to go there as well, I would have to sell a kidney or something. it was wonderful seeing it through your eyes.

There are so many more Amanda.
I just need to step back for them for awhile. I usually see my photos differently after there has been a little distance. Especially, Paris. I will appreciate them so much more as time goes by.

Does you mom live in Paris?

Hi Jan-
No she lives in the U.S.and met me in Paris. We live across the country from each other, so we didn't fly together. And, she stayed a lot longer...I couldn't be without my kids for too long.

Ooh, so jealous. The bread was seriously one of my favorite things about Paris. I'd be embarrassed to say that, but I'm pretty sure everyone else feels the same way!

Wow! I'm so jealous. Sounds like you had a dream vacation. Now it's time to recover from the jet lag and get back to work making beautiful art. Karin

I travelled to Greece in the fall and one of the things that I miss most is the food, this post reminds me of that longing. Thanks for the burst of heart (and tummy) warmth!
