Today I was "that" girl... The one who put on her flip-flops, gave the neighborhood kids popsicles, opened the sunroof, and turned up the radio. All because it reached 60 degrees. And, I just might do it tomorrow too.
Are those dogwoods from this year? We reached the 70s today (not for the first time), but our dogwoods aren't quite blooming yet. I *so* love dogwoods.
that will be me tomorrow when we reach 70....the 60's here in wisconsin just can't bring out my flip flops...yet....but I sure saw lots of them on other people!!!
I am glad to see everyone is getting a bit of spring too.
These dogwoods were from last year. Ours won't bloom again until late in May. So,I am waiting, not so patiently. And, entertaining myself by going through last years files, a little spring cleaning all around.
What a wonderful day! We spent the day riding bikes... My daughter rode home w/o training wheels! We would have gladly taken a popsicle handout. Hope the weather's right there for us tomorrow too.
When I used to live somewhere where it was cold in the winter, my favorite day of spring was when the ice cream man came around. We'd take off our shoes and run barefoot after him, chasing him through the town. And this was in college.
i feel ya!!! way to go. it was around that temp. here in cleveland as well... and us clevelanders are infamous 'flip-flops-in-too-cold-temp' wearers. ;)
Laughing.... just happened on your blog and my four think I am crazy when that kind of weather comes too! Seed catalogs come out, looking for four leaf clovers that weathered the winter! Funny. I look forward to reading this blog. Blessings and light. Amy

Lucky! I still have 50ish weather and it's overcast... no blooms on dogwood yet either. But it's coming and that promise is all I need right now.
its been 16 degrees C/60 Fahrenheit the last two days in London - it feels like a different place. Wonderful
AWESOME. Tomorrow is supposed to be another gorgeous day. Yay!!!
