1. Bokeh Melody, 2. Overcast, 3. Untitled, 4. Norte y Sur

I need a little favor. I think I ask this every year as I restart my morning walk/run routine.... some new music suggestions please. Something I can find on itunes, because I am musically lazy.
It doesn't have to be anything fast or motivating. I like slow and girly is good, it helps calm my mind.
Thanks in advance. I know you'll find me something good!

i just purchased three of the four volumes of Johann Christan Bach's complete Sinfonias. it is not too upbeat and not too quiet. it is perfect morning music to get the blood going, i think. it's definitely what i would call feel good music. i heard one on the radio and had to get it!

i purchased them here:
http://mp3.rhapsody.com/johann-christian-bach/sinfonias-vol-1
http://mp3.rhapsody.com/budapest-camerata/bach-jc-sinfonias-vol-3
http://mp3.rhapsody.com/johann-christian-bach/sinfonias-vol-4

not sure why, but they don't sell volume 2.

oh, i also thought of this—i was reminded because i just posted some lyrics by them—but have you ever heard of The Innocence Mission? they are not new, but they have some recent recordings.

i have no idea what kind of music you like, but judging by your photography, you seem like you might like this group. they are one of my favorites—i especially love the album "Befriended".

The Waifs. They are from Albany Western Australia, but you may know them, they have toured heaps over the US with The John Butler Trio, great motivational stuff!

Hey Alicia! Do you and R- subscribe to Paste Magazine yet? If not, you'd like it...that's how all my new favorites come to me (there's the free cd every issue-though now I think it'll come as a download instead). Anyway, "My Morning Jacket" (introduced by Paste) suits my fancy right now though it isn't really girly...Sara

My absolute FAVE song to turn on while walking/running/dancing around the living room when no one's home is "Sand in my Shoes" by Dido.

I am also completely in love with The Weepies, esp. "Antarctica"

Let me know what you think! ;o)
