i dream of Paris

It seems like my obsession has always been there. In third grade I found a friend equally enamored and we spent hours and hours imagining how fabulous it was there. When I was in my teens I saved enough money for a plane ticket, and my grandparents gave me a new camera for my trip. My best roll of film, I accidentally left behind on a bench in the Louvre. Most of what's left are faded, funny snapshots of my friends. And, I am once again saving my pennies for a plane ticket. We will see how many years it takes this time.
(This collaboration between me and my 14 year old self is available in my shop.)

You're a girl after my own heart! I finally made it there at 18, and I cried when I had to return home. I dream of going back.

It's such a gorgeous photo!

Sometimes I dream of Paris too but right now the spring is here in Sweden so I don´t want to go anywhere else.
I love your photo from Paris!

Paris is a wonderful city, even when you live there you can't stop being amazed by all the things you can discover at the coner of a street... I hope you will be able to come back here very soon. I'd love to see photos of "Paname" from you...

Very nostalgic.

Paris is my favourite also. I was there in February. The apple trees were blooming, sun was shining and the cafes were full. I'm hoping to go back this summer.

I found my way to you from Randomly Run4ist Run. I am so glad that I did. I just wanted to say hello.

What wonderful grandparents you must have had! Parents, too, for letting you go to Paris. I hope your pennies pile up again soon.
